Competition on Motion Imagination Signal Classification (MI2024)

functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) is a novel way to detect brain state. In a non-invasive way, near-infrared light is used to detect brain signals. fNIRS motion imagination signal classification is helpful for the identification of motion disorders and the development of brain-computer interfaces related to fNIRS. The MI2024 aims to foster the dialogue and collaboration of ideas, charting the roadmap for powerful solutions to motion imagination signal classification.

The dataset of the MI2024 was collected by the organizers. The data format for each experimenter is number of experiments * number of time samples * number of channels. The task of dataset contains four labels, and participants need to process and classify the dataset data. The task uses Accuracy as an overall ranking criterion. The first, second, and third prizes and winning prizes will be set up in this competition. All winners will be issued certificates.

Submission guidelines:

Teams can register by sending a mail to mi2024@126.com with the names of the team members, emails, and affiliations. After successful registration, participants will receive the competition dataset and related materials.

Participants can submit their predictions up to three times. The latest received submission counts as the official score.

Each participant can only be included in one participating team.

Upon submission, we ask that the teams submit their code, along with the generated predictions. This code will not be shared and the intellectual property belongs to the participants at all times.

Please save the prediction result to "XXX.npy" file, and send it to the email: mi2024@126.com

The top 3 ranked teams will be invited to submit a paper, to be presented at ChinaAI-2024, which should be submitted before the camera-ready deadline. Both Tex and Word source files are acceptable for potential submissions. The template in Latex format can be downloaded at http://www.chinaai.org/htmFile/LaTeX.rar, while that in Word format is available at http://www.chinaai.org/htmFile/Word.rar.
